Quick question i have a mopar bumper guard and at the moment im regretting the functionality of it compared to the importance of oh say...... front tow hooks or a front hitch. I do, however, love the looks of my guard with my driving lights on it.

So my question is, is there anyway to get front recovery points with the guard, or should i just ditch the guard?

Pic of what i have. Image

Most guards are mounted directly to the frame. So depending on which one you have you might actually be able to use it as a recovery point. So yes, pics, and or model would help.

Yea i wasn't really thinking of recovery when i purchased it. I'd just hate to get stuck with nothing to strap to, and only something in the rear.

Install a front hitch, it will come out right at the bottom 2 inches of your license plate. They have a stinger kit that installs the plate on the hitch receiver and you pull it out and install your recovery stinger front or back when you need it.

Maybe you could get longer bolts and bolt hooks over top the lower mounting points? Joe

OR, sell it on ebay and get one that has more beef.

OR, get someone to fabricate a front set of shakle points / hooks that fit in the same area.
