You need the AEV wheels if you are going to have those graphics on your windshield. You know the dark ones with the bull on the centercap? They are selling beadlocks like that now. Save that chrome for the streetwork. Im curious as to what your CV angles look like got any shots of them?

Wait, so these pics he's been showing that I thought were Commanders were 08 Liberties? during R&D or what? I'm officially thoroughly confused...

and who's been crap talking the KK anyway? I mean, IMO, with the price point, newfound civility, and 4 doors of the TK, JK, or whatever the heck the new Wrangler is called, from a certain marketability standpoint the KK doesn't really have any reason for existing...and admittedly, I haven't been watchin the forum that closely lately, but I have also not heard any dumb flame posts about it like I did the Liberty when it first came out.

What our friend recon is trying to point out, is that the new KK, and the commander will be very similar. The KK will be the commander's "little bro". All this is fine and dandy, except he absolutely despises the KJ, and proceeds to come on a KJ forum and bash the KJ and all the people who drive one.

He supports the Liberty, but not the KJ.

Because there are no real photos of the KK, he keeps posting pictures of the Commander, doing what we all hope the KK will be capable of doing. Is he a Commander fan? I can't really tell. He differently likes the body style, and the direction the new Liberty is heading in.

While annoying, he hasn't broken any forum rules, except for a commit in another thread that has since been locked. So, as long as he stays in the KK section, talking positive about the KK there is nothing wrong. I would just ask him to stop bashing the KJ, in a KJ Forum.

If he is bashing the KJ in a KJ forum, to me, that is breaking the rules. We have our forum to SUPPORT the KJ and avoid the disgusting bashing that occurs at other forums. Why put up with it here?

The thing is he is not very good at bashing...I give him a D- in KJ Hating 101. He is going to have to repeat the class to get credit. He is like a kid playing with a gun...he will eventually shoot himself. :idea:

If you were talking to me....No I dont own a viper, or an elise for that matter. Its just one of my favorite cars. They have the Exige now though, I should update my avatar I suppose.

When you say "Not Mine Guy." Are you saying that the commander is not yours, or are you calling me the "Not Mine Guy" since that elise is "Not Mine"?

Or maybe you were referring to the comment in the other thread where someone suggested that the commander was not yours? If thats the case..it wasnt me that said that. Please clarify when you get a chance.

Edit: sorry wasnt caught up on all your posts...If its not yours then why did you let on like it was?

You must be one extremely bored person to spend your time on websites for vehicles you don't even like trying to get people to not like you. Plus, if you had any idea what you were talking about, you would realize that, mechanically, the KK is gonna be almost the same as the KJ. Of course, if you spend your day web-wheeling, it doesnt really matter...

Ya know, the more I see that lifted Commander, the more I'm accepting the '08 Liberty as a smaller version of it. Would that really be so bad? I like the Commander's more macho squared-off corners, which calls to mind the old Cherokees and Grand Wagoneer designs.

As for the longer wheelbase, plenty of '70s and '80s Chevy Blazers and Ford Broncos are modded and taken offroad. The KJ won't be as large as them, so I'm not writing off the KK yet performancewise. Toyota Forerunners are longer than the KJ, and I see them wheeling. Put your spare up top like the XJ guys do.

I still don't see the need for a bigger Liberty as long as the Grand Cherokee's in production. But whatever...

My sister bought a commander a few months ago and she loves it. It doesn't have a lift but I am sure she will make that up grade sometime in the near future.

I would not worry about it. Who would take vehicle advice from someone who confuses a picture of a Lotus with a Dodge?
