i'm considering going in as well... only with a rancho rsx 17004 option though... or without rear shocks so we can get our own ranchos or whatever.

i must see price before i can decide to take the plunge and then try to convince the wife that this was a once in a blue moon chance that i just had to jump on or miss it..

It's almost like you KNEW (wife) what I was going to do to (except of course I'm also going to say that someone ELSE got the group buy started! :)

lol... guess we all need to slide things by the wives sometimes...

considering ours in an '05 and barely broken in, it will take a lot of convincing to get her to let me lift it.

If you can get rusty to sell the kit with the Rancho RSX 17004 for the same price he has now I would be in.

The group buy last year was in Oct. I know because I came back from my first Jamboree with the bug to be lifted! BIG TIME!

I didn't tell my wife. I just said it needed brakes and "some other stuff." Sent it to my local mechanic who did the lift install for 3 hours labor. Then I got tires. "My stock tires are worn out already. Jeesh."

Then, I mentioned that I got the lift - after she tried to get in and complained about getting her skirt dirty! ;-)

Anyway, the Rusty's lift IS AWESOME! I've had no problems with it whatsoever (knock wood please). No noise from rear shocks. No ball joint contact. Nada.

Now, I do think a better rear shock would be a good idea since the rear became somewhat choppy after the install. But overall, I'm still happy. And also, I don't notice the choppy ride at all, so either it went away with breakin, or I got used to it.

GO GET THEM! Rusty is good to us, too.

You should start a new thread with a very specific title to avoid anyone posting that's not really interested.

Also, you should contact Rusty for definitive prices and quantity needed to get that price. People will ask before committing anyway.

Just my experience after having gone through this with several other items.

I'm #2. Let's get a total quote, cause I'm about to buy myself a Daystar 2.5" lift. I would rather wait to see if I can save $40+ on this lift and get a more complete lift.

Come on folks!! It's time to lift!!

Is there any news yet on this group buy? Is there anyone else interested in a Rustys lift group buy? We can not do it unless there is enough interest.

I will speak to Rusty this afternoon. I have to ask him about the Rancho shock option. Hopefully he won't mind doing this. Some people have complained about the rear shocks and others have been fine with Rusty's set up. I wonder why this is?

Anyway, I will update everyone later and get a dollar amount and the amount of people needed to get that discount.

Thanks - Brian
