Nearing end of 1st week. Well, I've driven a little more than 1000 miles this week. I've got a 200 mile trip back home today. I first have to say that diesel noise and clatter is....well...addicting. I Love It. I also love the way it lumbers lazily through long parking lots. A much different driving experience than GAS.

I keep forgetting to let the turbo cool down when I stop. I had two other turbo audi's that I never let cool down and never had any problems, but I keep meaning to treat this one a little kinder.

Things I don't like:
Standing at the remote fuel island in the sleet after walking in to pay first, while the gassers are at the luxurious, covered, pay at the pump islands.
**note** I've spotted a few luxurious diesel pumps and made note

The annoying seat belt chime when reaching for my wallet at the drive through. This was not on my 02
**resolved** found the fix on the forum--bliss

I've owned a lot of cars, but not one was ever trouble free. Nice to know that when trouble comes, this group is here.

I'm pretty sure stock (at least on mine) are 225's.

BTW, if you're not entirely impressed with the economy, you may find that your odometer is off---some say by as much as 10%!
