So jeepjeepster any snow down in the D.B. forest? Havent checked the updated weather for that area today, anyone know what it will be like Saturday? Hope its warmer than Toledo is right now!!

Whats left to bring as far as food, drinks, cups, paper towels ????

Oh Eddo says we need "protection" to be able to come along, now in Southeast Ohio that means you need a gun, but if youre going out on a date that means.... well something totally different!! So out on the trails Oh never mind, I can find out later what it is!!! LOL

jerbacher,
too late just got back from the store with a whole big bunch of latex, now I cant use that either, thought it would keep the trail pinstriping down somewhat

No really wish I could go to the store, but we are on a Level 3 Emergency so no travel today, so sad that I cant go into the office.

No snow what so ever here. It rained all day yesterday then got down to 18 last night. Everything froze and my college is on a 2 hour delay,

They are giving a 40% chance of snow for Saturday and a 60% that night. They are giving a high of 36F, so we should be fine. Its not supossed to do anything the night before. :)

tommudd, no one has said anything about, Ketchup, mustered, or chili for the dogs.

Man you guys can turn anything around. Protection means proper skid plates or as much as you are comfortable with. A stock KJ will use them for sure. A lifted KJ can get by without a scrape if you take the right lines. A stock JK, I have no idea. Probably little to no scraping if you take the right lines.

Eddo I know what you meant, just had to get some things going on here, stir things up a little! not many posts lately, just everyone being quiet I guess and counting the days till we head SOUTH!

My plan was to work 4, 10 hour days this week then have all day Friday to meanader down that way. With the Level 3 here today and all State Offices shut down I now will have to work 2 hours or so Friday morning  (They only give us 8 hours leave )

So how many are going down the night before, anyone now?, anyone still camping? To go down Saturday morning I would have to leave Toledo about 3 or 4 A.M. way too early, Which reminds me I have to head to the garage and install my tranny and gas tank skid now!

I must say Im PUMPED! Cant wait to get out down there!

I am alittle worried about the snow. Weather.com isnt really giving anything till that night.. I guess we will see. Its not going to get over freezing till Saturday, hopefully all will be ok. Maybe all that water that smells like crap will be frozen.

I can still smell that stuff when I turn my A/C on.

"There will probably be a three to five hour or so period of light to occasionally moderate snow as this system passes. Actual surface temperatures will be critical as far as snow accumulations. At this time...it appears that temperatures will be near or a couple of degrees above freezing when the snow falls. If this is the case...best accumulations would be on grassy surfaces and across the hilltops and higher elevations. Right now...it appears that accumulations on Sat will average about one inch."

I'll take snow over rain any day, as long as it is not freezing rain.

Sundvl, his bro-in-law and I will be caravaning down and staying in Scottsburg, IN at the Hampton Inn- just south of Indy - on Fri night, and driving 2 hours further south to the 49'er by 9am.

Anyone coming from the Indy area, let me know and we can meet up before we leave the motel and caravan.

We will be staying at the Red Roof Inn in Richmond, KY on Sat night and driving back north on Sunday.

I wouldn't think Indy folks would meet in florence as it would be out of the way to go there. Maybe I'm wrong and somewone will correct me. It would be good info to have as we are staying not too far outside of Indy on fri night.

I thought others from his neck of the woods would be following.

Indy to Lexington is about the same if you take 74 to cincy and 75 south or 65 to 64 to 75. just depends where you are staying in indy...
