Adopt A Trail - March 4th

We need to clean up our Adopt A Trail again.

We are going to meet at the MacDonalds off the 15 and the 138 at 8am (same place as last time)

Bring a good set of gloves.

Hey everyone. This is going to be a trail run w/ trash bags. Since we didn't get to far down the trail the last time. We are going to run it backwards this time. Clean up the part that's in the forest 1st, then work our way down to the lake.

So bring your gloves and some trash bags, and let's clean up this dump.

Do you have directions to get to the other end so we can work our way back out? I will probably just come in the normal way via the lake side and meet up at the end.

How about shooting out an email about it?

To start from the top, there are two options:
1. Use SH 173 from the bottom, turn right at Rock Camp, which is 2N33. Although the road is marked Closed at the bottom, it really isn't; that's there so CalTrans can deny liability for the minimally maintained dirt road without fencing, etc. I understand this is the only State Highway that's dirt.
2. Come from Lake Arrowhead. SH 173 doesn't go through at present; you'll have to detour where the sign is. I know the way but it's hard for me to describe. I think it's Matterhorn you turn on. Anyway, you rejoin 173 and turn left at Rock Camp.

I'll try to at least come along if I can, but may not be able to use the truck and trailer if I do.
