25-001-05 Engine Controls - MIL ON and or DTC P0401 Possible Other DTC's

It basically states:

If codes, 101 299 401 are present, perform the diagnostic test for the 401 code. Which probably means check the airfilter. If its still throwing codes make sure TSB 18-018-05 has been applied then replace the EGR.

My Engine Malfunction Light came on again last weekend...then went off the next day. Dealer has it again today in the shop. I wonder if that **** EGR system is my problem too?

Mine threw the same codes, they took 3 days to flash the PCM, came back again. They played for 3 more days than said the EGR was at fault and 2 weeks back ordered, got a week to go than who knows how many days to put it in. Thank the lord for loaners. By the way the new Ford Explorer is a serious dog compared to my CRD in every way.
