Maybe you were looking at this. It looks like they're running an automatic and couldn't keep it in a 1:1 gear at a lower RPM. Some of my dyno sheets look bad like that at low RPM's because it is so difficult to keep it from downshifting. You end up waiting until you get it up over 3000 RPM to really get on it. I very seriously doubt it actually loses 85 ftlbs torque.

yup that was it. you could be right about why it showed up like that, but it did and they gave no explanation. either way, that dyno is irrelavant anyways. i look forward to their testing our product. too bad they didnt make it in a 1 3/8 instead of just 1 1/2. we could use a little more torque, lately i never rev over about 3000 anyways.

I'm hoping they will work for me. I need better scavenging for the 206 cams and ported heads that I plan to do next. Depending on the AFR I may go to slightly larger injectors, or I might get B&G to adjust the PCM. I don't think the fuel pump is an issue since the default jets for a 75 hp shot of N2O ran an AFR of under 10:1. With the stall converter, I can leave the line at around 2500 RPM. If the headers free up some power above 3000, that's right where I want it. When I spoke to them, they said that they actually gained a little power down low anyways. During normal, non-spirited driving conditions, I don't get over 3000 either. That's just pressing the gas far enough to where it shifts before 3000 without changing how far I'm pressing the gas up to 45 mph. I'm typically still out front a lot of the time. And accellerating this way, if a clueless kid in his civic with a muffler thinks he's racing me, I can stomp on it, dropping it into the alternate 2nd gear, and just blast right past him.

I havent talked to them since the end of February. They said 6-8 weeks for the 3rd time then. I actually was getting ready to call them today while I was waiting on a data recovery I was doing for a customer when I got distracted by someone needing me to recover the photos from their old cell phone and forgot. I'm going to call them on Monday and see what the status is. If it is 6-8 weeks again, I'm going to have them send me my headers back and take it over to a custom exhaust shop. I can't do the rest of the upgrades without some headers. I need the better scavenging.

Talked to JBA. The headers still aren't ready. I'm going to give it a little while longer. I don't want to buy the ported heads and new cams right now anyway after just paying taxes. I'm actually going to take a couple days off next week and install the computer, speakers, amps, gps, satellite radio, motorized touchscreen, etc.... that have been sitting for over a year.

Probably not bolt on. You'll need to check to see if you have an EGR valve. If you don't, you might be able to make the '05-'06 headers work. If you have an EGR valve, you might be able to make the Dodge Nitro headers work. They just made a run of them. Or the port for the valve could be sealed if you don't. They don't have any of the Liberty headers made right now. I'll let you know how custom installation of their headers goes in a week or two. Mine are on the way back now.

I seen that SS-Virus on this forum has the JBA headers installed and this is what he had to say:

Hi,

I see you have the JBA headers installed on an '03. From everything I've read they don't fit anything under an '05. How did you make them fit?

Do you feel they are worth it?
Do they delete the pre-cats, or do they bolt on to the pre-cats (i.e the Y-pipe).

thanks!

Yes, I ordered them from truckperformance.com after 5 months they delivered to me, I installed them, I like the sound, performance and MPG,
The intallation is easy, the mechanic just redesign the Y pipe then he polt them in, with no problems till now.
The most inmportant to me is the performance, I got alot of defernece.

Welcom any time Smile

No problems till now? What problems do you have?

Thanx

Yes, no problem at all, I already got the PCM flashed, and feel more power specialy at low speed.
