Took my Liberty into the Dealership this morning to have the Frankenlift installed. Supposed to be ready on Thursday. Dealership states that they will cover all warranty work regardless of the lift. They also guaranteed no more than a 6 hour labour charge.

I hope they are not speaking with a forked tongue. :D

Thats what I was thinking, tjkj2002! I replaced my lower ball joint the other day and took the front strut off just to look at it, and put it right back on! After you take them off and on a few times it gets almost boring/do it in your sleep kind of thing. Whoops just about admitted that I dream about working on my Liberty in my sleep!

AllJ told me it takes them 4 man hours. The dealership promised no more than 6 man hours. Seems better than driving to So Cal.

I've also got the super skinks in the Garage to go on and a Rock Lizzard front bumper on order. I've got to get it all together before I head back N. to BC for the Summer/Fall.

The rear seats squeak like no ones business. Very annoying. They promised to fix them or replace the latches.

So far the Dealership seems more than happy to work with me. I didn't buy the rig there but that doesn't seem to matter. They put on a lot of lifts for Jeeps and Dodge trucks there. Because of the area up here 4x4 are more than just for fun and are viewed more seriously than I think in a lot of other places..

A picture of my Liberty with the new lift. AllJ said when the new front springs arrive they will make Frankenlift II owners 'such a deal' on the new replacement springs.

I don't know. I can't get the image to work.

What sized tires are those? What rims? ...

By the way... it takes a tad longer to do a CRD lift as you have to move more out of the way, or so I was told. Hence the four hours quote from AllJ. Plus a shop will often use 2 people to lessen the time the vehicle spends on the lift. So it may only take them 2 hours... but with two people you get billed 4 man hours.
