It may have overheated. Check your fluid level and if it does it again you might want to get the tranny cooler installed. Just a thought.

Even though I don't know much I know you need more facts:
Were you in 4-HI, 4-LO, 2WD, high elevation, going slow, fast, in mud, in hot weather etc.........?

i was in 2wd accelerating from 0-55ish at a normal rate (shifting at about 2500rpm per gear).. it was on flat ground and the temperature was about 60 degree's and roads were dry. all this is very easy on the jeep.. which is why im so curious at to why it came on. well.. blinked on and off (stayed on for about a second then would go back off for about a second then come back on) i hope this is enough info.. let me k now if theres anything else you need to know.. thanks!

Probably no one has any idea what would cause that since it's in such easy, normal conditions. I would get something like that checked out since it sounds like either an electrical malfunction, or a somewhat serious problem that needs to be fixed soon since the conditions you were driving in were so mild.
