I torque to 95 ft/lbs. I have had a few be troublesome getting off. The new impact wrench couldn't budge it so I used the manual tire wrench and had to step down on it a few times. It suddenly came loose, but as I started turning it, it didn't feel right and suddenly it came off, lug nut and bolt head.

Perhaps I cross-threaded really bad when I used the impact wrench the last time I swapped tires. Not sure.

I have had trouble with one lug nut and stud on that wheel in the past. Always had to crank down on one (to loosen) every time I did the swap.

front or rear?

I have extras for the front, but you need to strip it down to the hub and use a c clamp and a real deep well socket in order to press it in. I think the rear are the same size base diameter.

Let me know if you need it, but I do not think I would be able to help you with moving.

HUH?

I'm just going to replace all five at the same time....unless they cost an arm and a leg.

Get the front ones from Napa, can't remeber the part# but I paid only like $1.19 apiece when I changed the fronts out.

That's not bad. For that, I should buy a few extras for those emergency events.

I forgot my camera so no pics from me but John (Kugellager) brought his camera so I'm sure there will be some good pics posted soon.

Kugellager, Skyjump136, and I made the run. We met up about 10am at the north entrance and prepped our rigs. The trail started out fairly easy which is what we were hoping for considering this was basically just a warm-up run. There wasn't any snow to speak of but the trail started getting muddy before we even hit Poser Rock. Since it was just the three of us we by-passed that and coninued on. At the rock pile is when the trail started getting really muddy. We managed to make it through that area and and the next couple of mud holes with little difficulty. I made sure not to attempt any acrobatics in the major mudhole and drove straight through to the end of the trail. On the return trip is when things started getting a little exciting. We made it back to the rock pile without incident but the mud hole at the rock pile swallowed Skyjump136's KJ to the point that he couldn't even open his driver's side door. Long story short, it took both Kugellager and I to pull him out. Once we got on to FS204 it was either rock or mud the whole way. The tippy point at the top of the trail is where we all re-calibrated our pucker factors. I know that John got some really good pictures of that. On the way out we ran across a guy in a J20? and a '70s full size Ford. The look of disbelief when they asked if we had come down the whole trial was almost comical. 8)

That pretty much sums up the run. Overall, it was a great warm-up run and can't wait to see the pictures John took.

I'm working on getting some up but it will be a couple of days.

I also don't have my own site up yet so I was wondering if anyone can host a couple of video clips?

I'm pretty sure I can't host videos on the website I host my pictures on but I have a youtube account if you want me to host them there. If you want me to host the pictures I can do that as well.

I have a place to host the pics...I forgot I have a Youtube account too...I'll try over there...Just haven't had time to do anything with the pics yet. We did get some good shots though...I will have some up soon. The vids aren't the best quality but are pretty neat. I like the one of you going through the mud on the way in the best. I'll get them up as soon as I can.

Here are 3 video clips from this run.

The first is Pete and Joel going through some light mud.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_esmtjdpJU

Joel going through the mud he got stuck in on the way out.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xT99QDNcsro

Here is Pete and I pulling Joel out of the mud hole after he got stuck.

Anyone know how to embed Youtube videos on this board instead of just putting in the URL like I have done above?

Man that stuff was like wet concrete. Did you see the gumbo he was pushing on the passenger side? It was 2 feet deep!

Just a quick tip for the next time on a run where alot of mud is expected, get a couple of cans of that spray PAM cooking oil, spray down the under carraige(not the brakes!) and clean up will be a snap, did it all the time when I mud raced but coated the entire '84 Blazer I was running.

Another way to keep mud from being so sticky and hard to clean off is WD-40, just spray down your undercarriage with it, the mud will come off easily and not leave any film.

Have not priced PAM, but the WD-40 is pretty cheap.

Will have to watch your postings for future trips, the Libby is my wife's, she likes to wheel it.
