Are you going with the in-line unit or the drop-in-the-tank unit? I was reading up on these again recently because another member posted something about them, and it seems like they have been tested very thoroughly by a whole bunch of independent agencies....let us know how it works out...
I wasn’t familiar with the in-tank version. However, I do plan on installing the inline Fuel Catalyst. My first goal is to put an aeroturbine replacement muffler on the Jeep.
Until we sell one of our real-estate properties, we’re a little tight for money. My purpose for the Fitch is to squeeze a little more mileage from the 3.7 and also keep the fuel and injectors clean. I’m hoping (realistically) to gain another 2 mpg with the aeroturbine, Fitch, switching everything to synthetic, and designing a custom cool air inlet. If I can squeeze a little more, then that will be icing on the cake. Lets say I end up averaging 22.5-23.5 mpg on the highway running factory. Then it wont seem so bad averaging 19-20 mpg with a lift. Plus all these upgrades will extend the life of our engine.
