 Post subject: How do I tighten up my Emergency Brake? ebrake?

I click mine all the way up to no avail...it still a-rollin.....very dangerous! Anyone know the way to tighten it up to three clicks?

I find that it works out well. It will work out best if you adjust it in the console, then adjust each rear wheel to make sure there isnt any drag and the force if being applied to each rear wheel evenly. I had to adjust mine again in the console after I went offroad and pulled the ebrake really hard on a hill so my jeep wouldnt move any into a hill(I was around 1in from it, bad situation).

I found out that I can adjust it without taking the console out. I can stick a screw driver in the slot where the ebrake is and hold that tab while I let the ebrake back down. If you can not figure it out, its probably best that you take the console out so you can see everything good. :)

Edit: Good to see another person from Ky! Im going to college at Eastern ky university right now. Just right up the road from ya. :lol:
