Okay so I was washing under the hood the other day and noticed that the vent cap under the stick on my Optima has poped up. Took it to the dealer who was of course like huh ? There is nothing wrong? Well working in the Motorcycle field I know this is a no no for this style of battery. A call to Optima confirmed that either it is a charging issue /heat issue or a slight chance of a bad battery . Just out of curiosity has this happened to anybody elses battery here on the list.
