Incase anyone esle encounters intermittant problems with a caliper sticking this maybe the fix. My left rear caliper stuck twice causing that side to get hot. The problem was rust the brake pad slides. Clean off the sildes put a little lube on them all was well.

High temperature grease such as "never-sieze" is recommended on the calipers wherever there is friction. Use it sparingly though to avoid any getting on your pads. While you're at it put some on your wheel studs to ensure you can always spin them off if you get stuck on the side of the road.

Lubing those pins is actually part of a brake service(new pads/rotors),but it good to lube them once a year or after any fording/mud bogging.

Ahh the anti-sieze works wonderfully on caliper sliders. There's debate on whether any lube should be used on lugnuts/studs or not for safety but I personally use anti-sieze on them too. Great stuff just don't get it on your clothes.

Yes, ive always used Anti-seize on wheel studs. Works out great and ive never had a problem getting them off.
