So are you not selling it now then? And I'm surprised at how much I like that. I'm not sure if I would do that to mine (I like dirt roads), but I dont think it looks half bad. I think we're gonna be seeing a lot of the 08s like that when they come out, whether Jeepers like it or not lol.

He said he is getting offroad tires to use on stock rims for the winter. Give him that much. Instead of buying a new vehicle for summer days, he went this way, and it looks great. Maybe too large of a rims, but still, it looks great. once he does a bit more on the tint and tails, it will look even better.

Look at OzLtd's photoshop, KJ does look great lowered with those large rims. We should be proud that our jeep has the capability of looking great for those on-road'ers, and capability of going anywhere for those off-roaders.

Rate it on cardomain: I think it's something Liberty owners/future owners should see. Something tastefully done, IMO, that isn't all blinged out and tacky.

Thanks guys.

These wouldn't last that long with my daily route.. Did you get anything modified to get these fitted or are they same bolt pattern/etc?

They are Kuhmos, the whole package retails for around $2,000. I didn't modify anything but they JUUUUST fit, the width of the center of the rims allow for just a tiny bit of thread to stick out to put the lugs on.

Oh and i hope that tiny left-over holds them in place good. Good Luck. If i had money I wanted to get THESE RIMS

When you get a chance, can you post a few pictures with the wheels turned all the way? I wanted see how much space is left on your wells. (if any  ) I think I also told someone else here, did you consider bigger rotors?

Your lug nuts should be engaging to a depth at least the diameter of the stud itself, more is better of course. So if your studs are 1/2" dia. there should be at least that much sticking out to put the lug on. I would get longer studs pressed in if they were too short.

That's a great one, looks a lot like what it would look like if they made SRT Liberty! Great.

That looks great.

I wanted to get some 20's just like those and put pirelli scorpions on them but sadly my parents shot down the idea :( . I understand why you would get a 4x4 as well .. I'm from Ohio and it definately comes in handy during the winter even if you dont offroad. Looks great

Wow, I missed half of page two lol. Yeah, there is enough lug. I was nervous at first but once I got the air gun on them they turned a good amount, and I torqued them down pretty serious haha.

I appreciate the comment Gringo. I was trying to stay away from the bling bling, "look at me" street look, I like subtle stuff.

Hydpin: I'll get some pics this weekend. It literally just touches the the front, at full lock, not enough to do any damage it just barellllllly touches it. The back of the front wheel well there is this little fin like thing that it hits, but it's flexible. Before driving I checked it all out and turned it full lock and drove in circles and inspected again, no problems.

well the pinch weld does kinda look like a fin, so lets clear this up :) Is this the fin thing your talking about???

Image

If so you can bend it over flat with the wheel well to look something like this, and ridding you of the rub.

I'll flame  , nice to see that wagon wheels are making a come back after what 100 years? lol sorry man but all my neighbors went out and bought great big SUVs and immediately proceeded to slap 22" bling wheels on them. Just Ticks me off cuz I'm thinking, gee, I wish I had that kind of dough for a frankenlift(1 wheel and tire) and ARB bull bar(another wheel and tire) and a winch(and yet a third tire and wheel) and a RL rear bumper(#4) I'm just jealous . Kudos though on going with black rims and your plans to get some real off road tires for your stock rims is super cool best of both worlds :D
