yea, its ok to wait a week or two. You want to give the springs time to properly set and such. If you get an alignment lift to soon(same day), then the lift will sag alittle and it will be out of alignment some. Mine didnt drop very much if any after adding the rustys coils. The Franken lift is really the only lift that needs to break in. :)

But then his lift, since it was used has a few thousand miles on it already so I would say a week he will be good. Make sure they know you have a lift, some of the so called experts dont know how to do anything that is a little bit different!

Yes, Wait awhile so the lift settles or a fresh alignment will end up being a waste. All new things settle....look at breast implants, for example.....well, they do!

Don't let them charge you for a FOUR wheel alignment.

If your only waiting a week or two, I'd go somewhere that will warranty the alignment for a few months or will recheck/adjust it without charge within a few months. I say this because I feel that my lift did not truely settle until about 6 weeks and 500 miles after installed.

Well, the only reason I was going to do it this weekend was because I thought I would need to do it soon, but if its better to wait, then I'll wait.

I guess it depends on what your doing with the tires that are currently on your KJ. I knew my GY SR-A's were coming off, so I did not worry at all about skrewing them up by running them with the alignment out of whack. So I ran the GY's for a while then put on my BFG KO's just before I got my alignment done.

What I was told and it made (2) sense to me.
New coils springs let them settle
pucks go ahead and do it
If getting new tires wait and do it then ,with either lift.
