Does anyone know if All J's got the Boulder Bars tweaked to fit the 05's better??

I think it was DirtyKJ that said he was going to be the test vehicle, but never heard anymore?

thanks

Yes, they have. When I was up at All Js Quinn said that the BBs for the '05 are slightly longer and will fit around that plastic trim piece along the rocker panel. He expected to have a batch done later this month. One of the first pairs is goin' on my KJ...hopefully this week :D

Oh sorry :D Yes, All-J has the tweaked '05 Boulder Bars and they stick out a little longer. When Quinn installed mine, he needed to pop the bottom clips only (instead of both bottom and top clips) so the round plastic molding stayed on. Once the bars went on, they held the molding in place.

It does look quite nice, and blends in without calling attention to itself.

Cool...I figured they'd look good and now I know.

Will, I can pick up a pair of BBs for you when I go up to get mine if you work everything out w/ Quinn ahead of time. Since we're both in San Diego, it'll save you the trip (or shipping $$$). PM me if you're interested and we can work out the details.

I'll take a picture of it later today (Wed.) and post it tonight. I hope to be at All-J today so it might show up late.

OK, the pictures are here. Since I haven't resized them down, I'm going to give the URL's and you can click/save yourself.
