I have 53K on mine, and i intend to complain about it often while its under the 7/70 warranty, in hopes that that will buy me a bit more time if i get my complaints documented.
Don't say that. I'm trying to convince myself that it will be good and reliable for a long time.
I actually had the Manual first and hated it so bad I took the loss and traded it for an automatic.
So far the automatic is winning, even though I would rather have a manual if it worked properly.
I don't really have any serious problems with it yet. I do have to hit the overdrive button in certain situations, but that's not too hard to do.
I have read of some people that have had the 42RLE for over 100,000 now and it's still working properly, so who knows?
The good thing with me is that I've driven a manual for so long that I don't have another automatic to compare it to.
A lady at work drives a Honda Civic which she loves. Whenever I come in in the morning and mention something weird my Liberty is doing she just looks horrified like it's some vile, disgusting thing. It's pretty funny. Never seen someone have that reaction at a vehicle.
I do have to say that when your vehicle vibrates & shudders when backing up a hill................that just doesn't seem good.
