My Renegade with the 4WD Hardware 2" Lift installed today by Jersey Jeep'n Customs.

Image

Gained approximately 2.5 inches all the way around. The ride and handling seem to be greatly improved. The toe had to be brought back into alignment after the lift. New tires coming soon.

Pics before the lift, during the process and after can be viewed here.

shoulda had them wait a few days before doing the alignment.. it's probably gonna go out again after the lift settles.

So do you know who manufactured your rear shocks? Did the bushings fit properly or did you have to use the spacers/washers?

Looks good!

Congrats!

Hey, is that red I see on the back shocks a Rancho boot by chance???

If it is, you should know that those things trap dirt and water and cause rust in the shock. They look cool though!

Later,
J

Didn't want to risk the long ride home, the toe was way off. It only cost 15 bucks to have it adjusted. I'll have it checked again soon.

I don't know the make of the shocks. They were installed without washers/spacers, just the bushing and the sleeve.

Do you have a link to that lift kit to purchase?

I'm looking at lifting my liberty but I'm not sure how big I want to go. I haven't had many opportunities to wheel and I probably wont' be wheeling often. I don't want to luse the daily driver abilities.

Like you, my KJ is more of a daily driver than an off-road machine, but the ground clearance and stock tires needed to be upgraded.

This lift is conservative but improves the ride quality greatly. I combined it with new P245/70R16 Dueler A/T Revos and now drive high with a firm grip on any surface.

I'm a little curious on the specs for that lift. I believe it lists 2002-2003 Libbies. Anyone know of any reason why it wouldn't work for an 04 or 05?
