Colorado4x4.org has a group of about 15 going to this trail. I need to represent with the KJ since this is in my backyard. Anybody else is welcome to join. Sorry for the late notice...just got back from a business trip and saw this.

Okay everyone.

Joel (Skyjump) and I represented the KJ's well today. Especially Joel. We changed some minds about the KJ. We surprised a few people today with our off-road prowess. Joel took some lines that really surprised the Wrangler/Rubi owners.

I think there were about 8 TJ/YJ/JK's, two KJ's, and an XJ that started but the XJ was quickly eliminated at the beginning. He couldn't get his 4x4 working so he could not get past the first set of whoop di doos.

For those that ran this trail with us a few weeks ago, we started at the bottom and went up. That one spot where we were getting stuck and had to strap, was a piece of cake today. I made it without a tire spin.

I would've had some great shots of Joel doing some good lines, but I was either spotting for him or helping him from taking a heavy branch into the body.

Great time and we changed some minds. A ++ day.

Just did. :P

As Dave mentioned we got lots of great feedback today...below are some direct quotes from the TJ owners out there.

"Didn't know you could do that in a Liberty."

"I'm really impressed with the KJs capabilities."

"I take back everything bad I ever said about Liberties."

Guys we need to wheel with the general population more often. They will be more accepting of us if they see us out on the trails taking on the same obstacles they are.
