I think 150 Kilometers. Do you know Büchel Airbase? We have a American Airforce Unit here in Büchel. And im living only 3 kilometers from there.
I know Ramstein very well . I was posted out in Ramstein for three weeks last year during the Force Protection Program.

See you.

Did you sell your KJ? I saw a blue KJ with the LOST decal on the fender with the Cherokee wheels at a dealer in K Town near the Auto exchange dealer.

Hello my fellow German Jeepers.

I'm based at Pioneer in Hanau, Germany, about 40 minutes east of Frankfurt. Will move to Grafenwoehr this summer.

Do you know of any off road shops that can do mods on a KJ.

Know of any good distributors?

Thanks, Ivan.

An idea....how about an exchange program? Use of home in Germany for use of home in USA. The KJ is sacred so no sharing of the KJ's.....LOL!

Cut costs of hotel expenses. Just a wild thought that I know happens through some businesses that work with people to do that.

Sounds like a winner, maybe even a new hit TV show.

Hi guys,

Let me tag along with greetz from the land of the AUTOBAHN - BRATWURST and the best beer in the world - KOELSCH!
I have to say I really enjoy your website, a friend of mine - also driving a KJ, showed me what you guys are up to and I have to admit, not bad.

I drive a VW Touareg R5tdi - loads of torque and high end interieur - with AT tyres still good for up to 120mph....... :P

Working for an international organization in Bonn/Germany, the next offroad camps are located in the scenic Eifel, just about 30mins. drive away - literally next to the world famous Nuerburgring. So should you ever be around let me know!

Alternativ, koennt ich jetzt aber auch auf Deutsch weiterschreiben?! Bitte tut mir einen Gefallen, hoert auf, mit diesen bloeden Uebersetzungsprogrammen zu hantieren - Danke.....

Very simple, I was offroading several days in a row and german traffic laws requires that headlights and licence plates are clean and readalbe. This picture was taken on second day and therefore the headlights clean..... :D

Carston,
Wie Gehts? Ich liebe Duetchland! Been there twice in multiple towns and cities. far and away my favorite country in all of Europe. Took my wife there for the first time and she agrees...not bad for a 100% Irish lass. LOL. anyhow, hows that Liberty still treating ya? I know the OP is about a year old but just looking for an update and seeing how its going. My favorite places in germany... Koln (cologne), Munich (oh yeah...what a party town with some of the most beautiful ladies in the world - OMG!), The Black forest, Heidleberg, Frankfurt (awesome apple wine!) Tubingen (watched the town "boat" race...what a hoot!) where we stayed in an old castle at the top of the hill. Berlin is so cool but was under the vast construction they had going all over the city. The Rhein is just gorgeous and we stopped and played around in so many cool little towns I forget all the names. The Germans are some of the most down to earth, friendly Europeans going - remind me of good old midwesterners here in the states. the beer is to die for, as is the food. I love all of Bavaria...how can you beat getting a giant soft pretzel with every meal? Screw dinner rolls, give me a giant german soft pretzel with my 2 quarts of beer per mug. LOL

So with that said, I hope your KJ is all you hoped and let us know if its still running strong. Any new mods? all that good stuff.

Chuss, <<< spelling? ;)
Dave
