I didn't want to say anything, but Marlin spilled the beans himself in that email. I have been talking with him when I have been purchasing some arms, and the lift is not dead, and it sounds like everything is coming together very well and quite quickly. So, the info on the website is not outdated from before Al sold it. The kit is real. I don't have much more info that that, except when I talked to him he planned on it being a completely bolt on kit.

That's what I heard as well. It was in a thread somewhere about a month ago.

Save much monies, because from the sounds of it, it ain't going to be cheap. So far, it would be the only bolt on lift over 2.5" respectively. He could literally charge anything and it would sell.

I say that because regardless of being gouged, I would probably buy one at any price.

Well, when you show all your cards to the other player like that, I can't blame him for taking advantage of you as much as possible, until you fold. Have you ever heard of putting on a "poker face"?!?!

Rock Krawler made the 7-up junk, all bolt-on, if I remember correctly.

No, it required some cutting and welding. I think.

I dont play poker, sorry. But I know what you mean, I was just making a point is all. Some of use have a more disposable budget. I dont really, but I'll pay the price if something is worth it.

Weither this kit is worth it or not remains to be seen.

To be on the safe side I would want it to be on a few units for at least a year. Any unseen problems should surface by then.

Of Course. Work out all the bugs and work in some improvements.

Wife would kill me if I put a lift like this on and it broke.

I'm not an engineer but i can't see this being done without dropping the cradle a bit while lowering the upper control arms or the kit suppling different/longer front spindles.

As I recall, on Al's original lift he used a front hitch as a 2 inch spacer for the cradle and had custom bent upper control arms made. He was also trying to get a set of the knuckles that Superlift used on the Liberator. (Don't know if he ever got them though) So the new kit will probably use a small cradle drop with new knuckles and upper a-arms.

Im curious as to how well these custom parts will hold up. If its strong enough, I can put off the SFA for a couple years.

4", inquiring minds want to know!

If you guys are worried about quality and reliability Maybe AL's lift will offer an intro discount price to get a few units on our jeeps and see how they hold up.

I am sure some of us would jump on that.

I'd have to wait for my 2nd KJ to get a little crazy with putting this lift on. Unless of course the wife approves a new 08. But I would totally jump on a discounted member first run special.
