Today I spent the morning at the dealership getting flashes and LBJ’s. Despite an appointment a week ahead they didn’t have the heater blower. Now mine is a December 05 build 06 and is not eligible for the F37 TC bulletin or so it’s believed. I had previously had the BCM recall preformed also.
What happened and was done
F31 AND F37 flash and another BCM update, a total of 3

It locked up during one of the TCMs but a phone call to star and he was on his way again.
What I noticed on the shifts. At 54 mph the shutter now is a firm engagement of the TC. However anything more then mild peddle yields rpm’s in the 3000 all the way to 4000 rpms when it shifts

Light pedal yields under 2k rpm’s as before. I’ve not driven it much and it’s flat around here so I don't know about hills yet.
Once home I plugged in my lap top and tried out my VAG-COM version 704 software setup and was very happy to see that it worked

I didn't try driving with it because the laptop's battery is low
Here are the readings I can get from it:
Calculated Load
Engine Coolant Temperature
Intake Manifold Absolute pressure
Engine RPM
Speed
Intake air Temperature
Mass Air Flow
Throttle Position Sensor
OBD Requirement Met
Distance traveled with MIL
Fuel Rail Pressure
One strange thing with vag-com, certain readings cause a MIL for a EGR and it can't read the ABS (???) It also will give me what I think are revisions of two different controlers that are listed by a number only.
What the tech said: Come back when the transmission tech is back from vacation and we can get the updated TC that had thicker lining. I told him I thought mine came detuned and with newer TC. He said they have no real way to tell when something happens. I’m not sure about that though. He also said the F37 reduced torque by 40% but I can't tell it
Now it's time for some "off roading"
