How much trouble did you guys running a Frankenlift and ARB up front have with the 235-85-16 tires. I am running stock steel wheels with no spacer.

For those running 235/85/16's, How much is your speedo off, and how has it affected your MPG?

I'm running 245/75/16, Don't see any speedo error, but significant MPG sacrifice over stock.

That Jeep is on cardomain.com somewhere. Do a search under jeep liberty and his is one of the first on the first page of liberties that show up.

According to my GPS, I was about 4-5% under, so I went to about 3% over.

as for MPG.... well, you don't run MT's for the milage. I dropped 5-6 mpg with them, but I should have runt them at 40psi rather than 32-35...

Dayton timberline MT's 235/85/r16 -- 2.1" lift -- clevis lift -- major front bumper modding.

and it's the best darn thing I've ever done for my jeep :) I love it.

265/75/16 BFG AT's.. wouldnt have it any other way. stuffs completely in the back without hitting the flare (1/4 inch away) with the frankenlift bump stops and an extra rear isolator (the isolator gave me the extra non rubbing clearance) major bumper cutting in the front and all the normal hacking. LOVE the 32's

those are some pictures... i apologize for my laziness with the link and not posting them on this page..

I'm running 32's and my speedometer is dead on! Can't figure why unless the computer figures it out? Joe

Then you speedo was off from the get go,putting the larger tires put it right on.Not uncommon for speedo's to off from the factory.

pinch weld over and a procomp 3" lift stops the rubbing, but with the rubicon rims. the rear wells take a beating, i am going to install fire stone air bags very soon.

It's a funny thing with the speedos. By law they are allowed to have a 10% difference and most of them show 10% to fast. I've tested it with 3 GPS units and it's 10 % under so if you put bigger tires you might get it bang on.
