To say I've been busy is an understatement. The short answer is... 1. I'm the guy in Orange. 2. mine is the black unlimited. 3. Other than one spot, the Unlimited with a 2.5" lift and 32" Timberline MT's (235/85r16) handled better than the Libby. I have to say that I am happy with the change, even though the LJ isn't near as plush on the road. Also, I miss the pseudo-lockers of the ESP. I'm going to have to get a real set of lockers next year

Let's see, only tapped the skids a few times (ok, on the steps, were the KJ on 32's walked it, I hit the skids to the point I thought I broke something, but other than that....) and I mostly took the same lines I would have in the KJ. The biggest thing was the hitch hitting all the time...

The bright red KJ is mine. The white TJ is my buddy from work, he's the one that got me interested in going 4 wheeling.

Cool where did you come from? Was it your first time? How did your Jeep do for being mainly stock, how did you like it? It looked like a great time out there. I sure do miss wheeling with such a great group of people.

My passenger side rear drum brake was locking up. So when I was trying to feather off the brakes going down ledges (the one where we had to winch Ed back, actually) the brakes would stick, and then suddenly release causing me to lurch forward. It was less then cool.

Luckily, there were a few who knew something about drum brakes, because I know absolutly nothing. They managed to adjust a "somthing or other" to make them stop sticking. It was fine the rest of the day and has not acted up since. Thanks guys!! :D

This was actually my second time at Livingston, second time wheeling ever. Kris (white TJ) and I went back in march to check it out, we only spent a couple hours there the first time. I got hooked and Kris has been wanting to 4 wheeling too (he used to do it back in the day).

The 2" lift helped, but I still need bigger tires, 245/75's. The nerf bars served the purpose of rock rails, however they are gone now. Mud flaps survived, barely and I lost one of my aux backup lights.

I have to say I was able to transverse obstacles I would not have had the courage to do without the guys there because I didn't think I'd make a couple of them! I had a good time.

I was going to ask how those backup lights did. I bought me a set but Ive not put them on yet. Ive been thinking about putting them under the bumper on the side of the hitch so they wouldnt get hit. You wouldnt be able to see them either.

I tried posting that pic and couldnt Jon, thats why I just gave the link. :)

I had felt a little bad that your rails took it hard. I hope it wont keep you from wheeling with us again :)

Oh. Earlier I though he was talking about a September ride :?

Anyways, since my boy will have football in the fall, I shouldn't be the coordinator on the next one...
