oh, most of the trail down to the bus is down hill. nothing a strap couldn't have helped with is gas and gravity couldn't do it on their own...

True, but I didn't have the topo map with access roads marked to tell me if I'd have to crawl back up... That was the limiting factor during jeepster and my run in rainy April.

Hey Moose since you have the maps, any suggestions on other trails to try/take/ rerun or ?? In your "spare time" maybe you can look through them

Thanks

TONS, we just need time, and folks who understand that we could be on a cool trail, or gravel road, and we wont know till we get there... I'm all up for being in the scouting group!

This sounds cool...I would definitley be interested in a run in early October. I've seen the pics of the past runs and livingston/DBNF is definitley a trip I want to make, as well as meet the rest of you that I haven't met yet.

I just need more parts for the Jeep before I'm completely "comfortable" with it.....

I do.

But no ARB front bumper or LJ Wrangler... Something tells me, we'll manage.

OK so looks like maybe Sept 28/29/30
or
Oct. 12/13/14
put Fridays in there just because I would like to be down there sometime Friday and to get an early start Saturday. Main run would be Saturday with a late friday afternoon or even early Sunday half day run possible??
So any other suggestions?

Tom

If thats when you can go thats fine with me, but I will be moving my wife to OU in Athens that weekend so she can start teaching there.
Maybe some can go that weekend and look some additional trails out, just a thought

Hey guys and ladies, if there are any.

Did you see the formation of the new BlueGrassLOST forum?

lets get this post on that forum and then make sure it apears on the BlueGrassLOST.com site.

I will keep up with the info and post it there.

Also, you all know that deer season is in full swing during the fall run? Not real sure how much bow huntin happens in the DBNF, but keep it in mind where ever the run winds up.

It's their woods too.

Keep me posted on the decisions and I want to run also.

all we have to do to help the hunters is keep yelling, screaming and blowing our horns, the dear will come out to see what the heck is going on, hunters shoot, we field dress and eat! Just kidding but when is hunting season there, I only know Ohio and West Virginia.

Also WoodysKJ we were trying to get a date set and then let the other sites know after our decision.

Tom

Bow season starts State wide the first weekend of September. (9/2) i think.

I know there is limited hunting in the DBNF.

Keep me posted. I wanna post cover and attend this one if at all possible.
