I cant find the post about the fuel door, but incase anyone was curious the ford f150 door cover is about 1/4" too small but an add on of that thin flexable self adhesive trim filled the gap perfectly.

That's horrid. Chrome in the right places looks great, not every little $5 stick-on you can find at autozone. A nice colormatched body with chrome wheels would have looked perfect if you were going for that look.

Edit: I forgot you're getting new wheels and tires, so I'll refrain from the hate until I see the final product 8).

Yuck. Seriously, that thing looks terrible. Were you trying to make it look bad?

To each his own,as long as he likes it that's all that counts.

Just 3 things if I may suggest(in my opinion).

1-Get ride of those sport flares and bumbers and get the smooth paintable ones and get painted to match, that would really help the look.

2-Get some better rims and tires,18's would look good in a tasteful chrome version.

3-Loose the roof rack.

Hey then you'd have a sharp looking ride for mall crawling.

Yeah, not a show car type of guy, and 18's wont get me to my deep in woods fishing spot. Why would I put on painted flares when they are just going to end up destroyed anyway? darn a few pieces of chrome, and and a guy cant woods his truck?

The rack is about 8" deep, I have to put my lights and wind deflector on it this weekend. I'll take some pics when i have it off. I do alot of fishing and I needed to design it deep to hold all of the gear for some of my weekend trips.

Hey...it doesn't look that bad (besides the door handles). It's your Jeep...do it the way you want to.

No offense...but those chrome door handle cover deals look tacky on every vehicle...including KJs. Just my opinion.

I appreciate the honesty, I really had no idea chrome was so hated. I've just always had a thing for chrome. darn now I'll have to go with the black fog lights instead of my beloved chrome.

Hey if you like chrome, use it. I agree with the color match on the fender flares. The wheels need addressing.

BUT THAT RACK!!!!!!!

IS THAT PVC WATER PIPE?!?!? GOOD GOD MAN!!!!

HAVE SOME SELF RESPECT!

can't wait to see that after the paint chips off, AND IT WILL!

Dude, spend your money on a good metal roof rack, not on the bling.

But hey, He's in Jersy!

Go figure.
