I picked up those five 245/75R16 Rubi MT/R's the other day because the deal was too good and wanted to give you local guys a little more time to have at them. They have a lot of tread left, don't look to have been offroad, and the spare is brand new (brand new cost about $150-175 alone).

If you want them, bring me $175 and they are yours. I'll give it until August 16, then I will sell them on CO4x4 or Craigslist for $350.

If I had the room I would jump on this but since I already have an extra set sitting in the garage... For $175 you really can't beat this deal. I know that KJ4ME was asking about MT/Rs the other day. Maybe he'll post soon. If not, I'm sure that someone will want them after the Wheeler Lake run.

id love to take these but i dont think they will fit on the stock 16-inch alloy wheel, will they??? ive never really had a problem out of my goodyear SR-A's (or as i call them, senior airmen) but i hear they wear down quickly and unevenly and suck in the rain/snow/ice and are paper thin.....
if they dont fit the stock wheels, id just have to invest in some el-cheapo rims, thats no biggie!
what do u guys think? tires, or save for more armor?

I can't see why they wouldn't fit the alloy rims; as long as it has the proper width and diameter, it's a rim :P

Edit: here are a couple of pictures of guys running the alloy rims with MT/Rs:
Vern from Tucson

Jim (another AZ guy)

Looking at the last pic, I think Jim has the Moab rims, but Vern definitely has the aluminum rims that came with the Limiteds.

KJ4ME has an '07 which I'm pretty sure has 17" rims, so they won't fit. :(

Hmmm, maybe he made a mistake on the size he mentioned in his post???

That's what I was responding to, but if he has the 17" rims then no, they def would not fit...

I ran MT/Rs on 16x7 rims for 3 years before I upgraded my rims (last month). The only issue you might have is clearance until you get a lift. IMO, I would get these and hold onto them until the lift was installed then put them in at the same time. You really can't beat the price considering a brand new set from the Goodyear store can run up to $1000 for 5.

Heck Yeah! That price is so good I'd be tempted to drive up to CO to pick them up (if I didn't already have a decent set of 245/75s)...

Would be mind shipping these? I'll pay you well :). All you would have to do is tape the label on them, no packaging neccessary :o.

ok first... marty id like to purchase these! like hellrasor i wont be able to pay for them until the 15th. in todays heavy rain, the SR-A's didnt do well at all. they dont seem to channel away water very well and on I70 i was doing like 40MPH, and it was kinda scary.
second... donnie, isnt your KJ all pimped out??? i just dont see you rollin' on MTR's... im confused by this...

No lol, it was. I took the rims off and sold them, basically they were too big and it wasn't much fun to drive around. Right now I'm lookin' like this:

In the first picture, if you look to left I can't get over the 'whoops'. They're hard to see and don't look like anything but, right after the puddle it goes straight down and theres' a series of slow dips about 10 ft. deep that I'd get high centered on.
