its a 2003 freedom edition.

I'm uploading the pics from the phone now. It doesnt look like much but the pictures dont do too much justice to the actual damage there is. Plus i was still in shock.

Glad everyone is ok.

So far I wouldnt believe that is totaled. If it was I would fix it myself unless the frame took a good hit. Then I would put a SFA under it and beat the snot outta it.

That sucks.

Hard to believe that much damage (all the fluids and such) from hitting the walls :(

Hope you two remain okay as stated above.

It's a wake-up call to the rest of us that our KJ's aren't as indestructable as we would like to think.

The cross-maxes.... are they AT's or M&S?

Has this happened to anyone else?

What a shame.

-Mark

like everyone else has said...glad no one was hurt. That just makes me wish my bonus would show up sooner (couple more weeks). I've got a couple of scratches on my tires and haven't replaced them because I am replacing all of them with grabber AT 2's when my bonus gets here.

[quote="WoodysKJ"]Glad to hear all walked away. I have been in spinning rides like that. Beats the hell out of anything they could ever have at Six Flags.

Come on up to SF Great Adventure, you won't be saying that after a day here.

DUDE,

Unless the frame rails are tweeked, which they dont look like they are cuz there is still all the glass intact, that is NOT totaled.

Your KJ can Live again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like it took a beating and won the battle>

Sadly enough, that was the good side of the KJ. The other side didnt fair so well. Plus there is quite a bit of mechanical damage aside from the exterior. Insurance adjuster see's her today. Final verdict will be known in a short time.

That's not as bad as I thought it would be, but any scratch on a liberty makes my heart ache, so I hope you get the KJ back soon!

Good u 2 are OK and the KJ didn't roll!!!!

I think we have all had spin outs due to the crappy OEM tire traction but the catastrophic blow out would scare me....

FWIW, I think Michelins ride soft where the sidewalls always look soft or low on air even when they are properly inflated so it may be hard to tell at times. I have some Mich snows on the KJ in winter and All seasons on another car and they always look soft...

Are u getting a new KJ?

Did the 03 have that new stability control thing and would that have helped at all?

I spun out in a Caddy Deville going 110 when I had a blow out and the ESP/traction control thingy kept me in control.... scared the hell outta me..

Man, glad to hear that you didnt flip it, that would have been terrible.

Your GF must have freaked.

If it is totaled, will you part it out? I sure could use that front bumper cover

Finally heard from the insurance companies today, she's not totalled.

She'll be getting repaired to brand new. The insurance company atributed all the damage on her to the accident...even the bent spare on the rear door which happened the 3rd week we owned the car. sweet!

Man that sounds low for what you described. Hopefully that's it though. Just make sure you use a reputable body shop and they inspect everything and add it to the estimate if needed.

Glad to hear everyone is ok. I would have been devastated if that was mine! I have a black freedom too. One night we got hail and I was panicking because my car was outside in it. I was so scared it would be totalled due to severe body damage. I was literally crying. I absolutely love my Freedom and there is no replacing it!

Glad yours can be repaired!

Hey JMLoughrey
That Pappa's sticker on your jeep is that a dealer sticker or something you put on? Reason why I ask is because I see that KJ all the time on 95 in between Cos Cob and stamford. Just wondering if that is you that I see pretty much every day.
