As I've been going through the threads in here, I love all the pics. CO is beautiful. I can't wait to move!

Just thought I'd give you all a nice compliment instead of just being a troll.

I've lived here for 6 years now. I LOVE COLORADO! :) :D 8) Can you tell? You'll enjoy it as well, if you are the outdoors type. Here's some pics of mine, each with at least a little scenery, that I thought maybe you and/or others might like to see.

Hello Crimsonfox.
No matter your age, business experience, or where ever you hail from. You will LOVE Colorado. I was raised in Northern Virginia. (just out side of Washington DC) first skiing back east if you fell down on the coarse you rolled out of the way to prevent others from skiing over top of you. Skiing in Colorado if you fall down Low and behold a crowd comes to your aid to help you up and brush you off(am I being mugged?) no it's just everybody out here is just so freindly and helpfull. The one thing you will notice from time to time driving you must be cautiuos. They think they are still in the old west just point their car in what ever direction you want to go and say giddyup. Plus directions of left or right are non existant out here they use points of the compass North, South Ect, Ect. (hint to a Colorado newby if east of the continental divide (Rocky Mountains) East the mountains are in your rear veiw mirror, west in front of you north on your right south on your left. Colorado natives don't realise how much this confuses us flat landers but you will learn. I have been here for over 25 years and after traveling a couple time back to Washington DC, I could never go back crowded dirty and rude . What can I say I'm a convert. Just some helpful hints and BTW welcome to the Rockies!!!.

Colorado would be a much nicer place if you could build a wall around Boulder and just toss food over it once in a while. When I was relocated to the Rockies from Ft Lauderdale, I was under pressure by management to move to Colorado (Colorado Springs to be exact), but I went with Utah. I guess it's a matter of preference.
I still get to enjoy the Colorado scenery while sitting in traffic each month, but I just feel icky while in Boulder.

Go to Boulder Creek Festival in May to experience the 60's. Just toss a strategic nuke on top of Boulder. No more Mork.

AHHH :!: :!: :!: YES Boulder home of the fruits and nuts. As to why should we feed them if they are well fed and happy in their own little world they might not try to spread put and try to populate(infect) other parts of Colorado.
Rememder they want to save the indiginous Rocky Mountain Blue Whale and monark butterfly

LEAD :D FOLLOW :P or GET OUT of THE WAY   8) :-)r :-)r :-)r

I'm living in AZ right now. I've been here most of my life, but it is way too hot. I'll be moving until next summer. I'm under contact until the end of May. I thought about packing up and heading there this summer, but I'm not exactly a fly by the seat of my pants kind of person. I need to plan.

I've talked about moving there for as long as I can remember because it is near the mountains, so I can hike, bike, board and fish. I was in Denver for about a week this summer. I drove around to everywhere. I like that you can cruise about 45 mins west and feel like you are out in the forest.

LOL @ rush. The only way I know how to find my way around is by using mountains as a reference point!

So what is so bad about Boulder? Or are you going to make me move there before I find out?

What can I say :?: I'm from back east Washington D.C. area. back east directions are always turn left or right, to get out here and get directions via the compass or a little confusing. It's more of a cultural differance as far as Boulder is concerned as I have said it is the home of the fruits and nuts. If you want to save the whale or save the enviroment from the raveges of modern technology then Boulder is your new home. Now don't get me wrong I'm not advocating trashing the envirerment. (After all to set the record straight my big sister was the Inspector General of the E.P.A. {NikkiL. Tinsley}, I'm just not prevent us from enjoying the natural country we all love so the TIT Mouse isn't disturbed). I'm talking a lot of cultural differences, after all this is what America is about free speach and free expression, just don't force you veiws on others. Once again kick me off this soap box!!! Sorry I have started another rant!!
Welcome to Colorful Colorado enjoy all it's beauty and natural resources.

Boulder is full of peace, love, smoke weed, save this, save that, lack of free speech (some professors), full of free speech (everyone else), hairy women, dreadlocks, smelly bodies (non-showering people), strange religions and cults, and whatever else you can think of. You are stepping back in time when you visit Boulder.

LOL sounds like some of the people that live in Flagstaff and Sedona, AZ.

The ones in Sedona smoke weed and take "magic" crystals out into the woods so the vortex zones can heal them.

Flagstaff was funny because you always had some protest group out in front of city hall. The best was still the "Women in black against the war". they were dressed in circa 1800 farm attire, straight up with bonnets, all in black standing in front of city hall. They just stand there and look straight ahead for 6-8 hours a day. Next time I'm up there, I'll take pics.

As much as we all love boulder there's always southwestern colorado...the old mining towns like...Durango or telluride! I hear a lot of people refer to Durango as a Boulder 20 years ago when it was easy going and people were there for the outdoor sports...not petting wildlife!

Southwest Co is really nice. I'd love to move that way, but I'd rather be in the Denver Metro, better availability of jobs and all that jazz.
