I have a '02 that has had it's problems in the past, but I have come to one that has me stumped. My speed control for the heater, A/C only works on high (4). It will not blow anything on 1, 2, or 3. I checked the relay, switched it out. I checked the switch connector, no corosion. I have yet to figure a way to check the switch itself, but I really don't see how 3 settings would just quit and one would still work fine. Anyways, thanks ahead for your comments and replies.

The reason it works on 4 and not the other settings, is because the blower motor is receiving full power as the resistor is not working. The resistor acts as a gateway for the power.

My #1 setting stopped blowing, or so I thought. Rarely use 1 so I didn't notice (not sure anyway).

Yesterday, I noticed #2 speed isn't blowing.

Remembered reading about this some time ago and came back this morning to search.

I LOVE THIS FORUM!

Anyone have a part number or will it be easy to the parts dept to just tell them I need a new blower motor resistor?

I just plugged in my VIN and no incomplete recalls exist.
