yeah I love the MT/R's... They have awesome traction. I didn't have to put it in 4 wheel drive the whole day...
I wish we had more mud, but Ohio is in a drought and mud is hard to come by..

that place looks familiar. If I knew what I was talking about I would say that place is city or gas company owned with a large gas lined buried 4 feet under the ground.

Did you just paint the rims or are they new ones you purchased? If you did paint them, what type of paint did you use?

It's Duplicolor High Performance wheel coating, flat black...
Got it at Auto Zone...
I sanded the rims with a medium grit sand paper, and then with a 320 Grit... After that I masked the tire and painted....

Hey thanks man!
I was afraid to use a wheel cleaner on the paint, but the mud didn't come off with just water.. So I did, and nothing happened! :D They look like they did when I just painted them..
It does say "Improved resistance to brake dust, chemicals, cleaning solvents, heat, and chipping" on the can...
So far so good....
Chris

A wheel cleaner shouldnt hurt the paint at all as long as its Clear Coat safe. I do not believe you clear coated those, but if its safe for CC then it should be ok for your painted rims.

Looks great BTW. :)

So you didn't remove the factory clear coat?

cdiekhans, did you add a clear coat after you painted them?
