It would be great if someone could translate this into terms we can all understand...like, which popular trails would be closed under each alternative?
Except for Alternative A (no action), they're talking about closing off at least 2,000 miles of trails (out of 4,673 miles). That sounds really bad...unless they're trying to avoid closing the more popular trails (like, for example, the ones routinely run during EJS), in which case it's only sort of bad.
If I get a chance I'll try to figure that out...but I don't want to do it if someone else already has.
