Well I've been there once, fully loaded & the pod on the roof (So no dune driving ).
I'd like to do a day trip but don't know my way around so any takers to lead a trip :?: I'd say meeting at the twin servo around 8.30am, lunch on the beach & head back mid to late afternoon.

Ed: You got me thinking about this after our trip to Coffs.

I know where Tin City and the ship wreck is.
Can get the GPS co-ords for the tank traps.

Sounds good Ed.

I just need to confirm when Karen isn't working so she can come along. I should know in the next week or so.

Best of luck with the clean, I find a few coldies help :D

Still depends on Karen's work, I think the date is OK but she will 100% be working the Sunday. That kind of put's the breaks on camping, but you never know.

I will pm Jenko, Dave & Brian. Don't think they look at LOST all that often, in fact I'm sure Dave never does.

Karen has to work in the evening so as long as she dosen't get told to come in for the day were OK. However I will have to be back in Hornsby by 5pm at the latest. Jenkos about 60% at this stage.

No longer a problem at Karen's work, she got the day off :D (found out on the way home) . I've spoken to Dave (SJC) & he's keen to come along, Jenko's needs to confirm on Friday if he's got the day off work.

So we could have 4

Ed (Fearless Leader)
Chris
Dave
Jenko (60%)

Ed: Dave was wondering how the day will run & what time to meet (he suggested the twin servo's). Were thinking of staying up there on the Friday night, as it's a long weekend & the start of school holiday I don't want to be stuck in traffic leaving Syd.

Yeah that's do-able, this place is literally like less than 500km from the beach entrance

Not sure if they have any spots left. I might get a camping site with ensuite LOL.

All booked for the weekend, if I'd realised it was a long weekend & the strat of the school break I'd have suggested another day but that old news now.

Dave will meet us at the servo at 9am on Sat morning.

What's the recommended tyre pressure for sand driving?
