Wish I could make that run with you guys....BUT

have a national ATV TT (flat track) race in IL and I won't have my rockrails done in time.

You guys have a safe, fun time though.

Since it appear you want to use you Jeep for what it was designed for instead of just painting. Look into Rhino Liner or one of the other liquid bed liner applications. I truly think you will be happier today, tomorrow or down the road. Just my $.02 worth. But as we all are looking for least amount of damage with as inexpensibilty as we are looking for. You can never have too much bullet proofing

i used some dupli-color spray bed liner on my rock rail (yet to be reinstalled) and was very very happy with the results. i found it pretty easy to get an even finish just with the spray can. its a lot cheaper then having it professionally done and i think comes out looking just as good. the material seems to be very very tough too. so, once i get some more money saved up, i'm going to get some renegade flares (cause i like the bolts  ) and then spray those and the bumpers and side moldings black with the bed liner.

How many spray cans did it take for you to do this?? Years ago I put running board on my Toyota 4x4 pick up not as much for looks but relished in the fact that stupid people in a parking lot would do so much more damage to their ride by opening the car door into me. This got me more joy then you could imagine then watching at a distance and seeing some moron open their car door and do damage to their own ride. (Can you call this instant gratification) If a spray on bed liner will do the trick I am not just greaful but extatick.  :-)r :-)r :-)r

one can just barely covered both rock rails. would take at least 2 for running boards, i think.

Crap, I only opened two boxes. I hope mine are all black. I won't have the MTRs til next month so I put the rims in storage. :?

Your KJ looks very nice with that set-up, btw.
