WOAH now, what is this ASFIR stuff I see on your rig, never heard of them guys??? Just looked up the name and checked the site out. Their stuff holding up alright for you Darby??? I'm looking into some better side protection considering i'm still running the stock rails since funds haven't been kind to me as of late...sooooo what's the skinny???

I was the Test Dummy for them. I have not gone offroad...doing a S...L...O...W... build on this CRD. The steps have been modified to move out 3" now and they work great.

6MM thick so it will hold up fairly well for most offroading...I wanted to save some on weight...total for all the skids and rails ~125"...

WOW! those skids are AWESOME!!!! the first pic you posted looked like they were all thin and flimsy, but the second set of pictures proves that wrong! me likey! :)

Well I'll be sure to keep up with your off-road escapades and see how that material holds up against what you put it through, looks like good quality stuff, lets hope it holds up to the next challenge.

i thought you werer wanting to save on weight? if my math is right 6mm=1/4" that sounds pretty thick... and heavy
oh well it'll withstand the punishment can i see some pics of your rock rails im getting ready to build my own

Still needs more lift and 32" MTs but it holds its own and I was suprised that I made it through this trail with only getting high centered twice :D
