Dang! That's so amazing (and comforting to know) that all three of them are fine. Great that the KJ took it all so well. That had to be so scary to see......

Wow! Glad all are well!!!!! :) :) :)

Too bad you didn't have your tool box. Some of the off road stuff would have been easier to strip laying on it's side.

As a side note, just between fellow CRD users, has it had an F37?

Spence.....First off ,I just want to say that I am very...very thankful that your wife and children where so lucky in this incidence!!! It's really not fair for a man to have to witness such a near tragic accident like this one,but I guess the outcome was just enough to help you through it.If everyone is feeling ok now, then chances are they will be ok later, but please have them checked in the comming months and years that they don't experience any spine or neck alignment problems.

Oh...The KJ....No Offense, but it can't tell you "Good morning"..."Good night" and especialy "I LOVE YOU" so it's just kinda irrelavent to me right now. :)

Yeah it's hard to tell with the kids but the wife has already broken L3 and L4 years a go and had to have a spinal fusion and was in a body cast for 5 months, So she already has severe back issues but she says it hasn't bothered her at all since the accident. Will just wait and see I guess.

Good to hear that everyone is alright. It is also good to know that my family will be protected if we ever get into a crash. Hope to see you in a new KJ soon.

As a father of four, I am very glad to hear that all are ok. Things like this just make me just a little bit happier about my choice of this vehicle. ... really glad everyone seems alright. I think I'd still get everyone checked out, just to be safe though.

I'm glad the family's alright!!

Now...about your wrecked beast...I just got an XJ with a tapping lifter. Wanna donate the Moabs, MTR's, 2.8 and 545RFE to my cause?

Sorry to hear about what happened...but if my firstborn child is anywhere near the idiot driver that I was when I was young, I feel a bit better about stuffing him/her in this thing when it's 25 years old with 300k miles on it

How'd your wife break L3 and L4? that had to be a rough incident! I'm surprised that didn't aggravate the old injury

As others have already stated it's so wonderful they came out of it OK. With myself having problems with L3,L4 and L5 I'm even more amazed as to your wifes good luck to come out with out injury but with out aggrivating her back more the Guardian Angel was working over time that day. As others have said forget the Jeep love and cherrish your family and enjoy another day able to just walk around :D

Spencevans,

I'm so happy to hear everyone walked away unscathed. Holy cow, that looks bad! You're a man of tough constitution. I on the other hand, probably would've died of a heart attack after seeing my wife and kids wreck that way.

I like the Lexus, BTW. Enjoy 'er!

Looking at those pictures reminds me of when my wife rolled our Liberty. She walked away with just some bruising. Those things are tough little beasts. Good to see everyone is alright. Don't expect the insurance to give you much if anything for the aftermarket parts. Mine gave me credit for the "side steps" (All J's Boulder Bars) but nothing else.

Hey thanks for all your replies, and yes to we do have gaurdian angles. I rolled this Lexus 3 years ago on the same stretch of road and walked away as well. We missed it so much we purchased another but killed the liberty in the process. I currently feel good about everything. I have thought about getting another vehicle but I already have two so nothing is really forcing my hand to buy one at this time. I am concidering just bieng patient and looking at all my options for a while. What I would really like is a new KK with a diesel and a six speed. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Again thanks for all your concern.

Holy moses...the first thing I saw was that picture and I caught a glance of "on the same stretch of road" and my heart jumped into my throat thinking "WOW that sucks...two in the same week"
