Mahalo! Looks good man, I like the color. Now I know what my KJ will look like if I get and ARB and black rims.

EOD-KJ Just wanted to let you know if you stay in top of rotation with those baja clawsyou will get a ton of miles out of them. Just front to back. I ran a set on the wifes silvy rot. every 3000 mi. and got 46,000 mi. and they still have 1/4 tread.

I think it would look even better with smoked lenses on the headlights (for daytime driving), smoked or black covers for the bumper lights. Make it all dark looking. A smoked-colored lense license plate frame for the front plate.

Looks great.

really nice...I'm jealous for two reasons...one, that you can run kick arse looking mudders all year round, and two, you can run those while riding around in Hawaii....dang, that must be nice. Me....I'm just about getting ready for the snow to fly....for the next 6 months!!!!!!

errrr, wait...I see you are in DE....did you just move to or from HI???

edit to add: I should read more closely...welcome back to the CONUS!!

One day the bumper will go but not for a while, I am still waiting for that one to come out. I think the rear will be RL for sure, he has a good one there!

I am about 45 mintues from Newark, I have been thinking about wheeling somewhere. I am up for something why not, lets do it. Send me a PM.

Anything but deep deep snow they will be downright dangerous to drive in winter with. Deep snow they act like paddles and will do okay. Regular street driving with ice and snow of standard accumulations will be like ice skating...not to mention whatever compound they are made of will likely become REAL hard in freezing temps...the rubber compound in those is meant for mud/rock crawlin and won't be nearly as pliable in zero degree weather especially with NO siping....but I 100% agree...those things are bad azzzzzzz!

Your KJ looks toot sweet! Definitely give us a winter driving review. I for one would love some kind of mudders, but due to the amount of time I spend on the highways with piles of snow, am a bit scared to try them for the money. All that I've read and the guys at any tire shop poo-poo getting them for anything but mud/offroad and say I'd be making a huge mistake....I still long for them though. I can dream - just not ready to dream from a ditch on the side of the road. ;) I would love to see the contrary, just something go by for winter driving...so I look forward to seeing what you find. Drive cautiously at first in that snow that's almost here.
