You're "Heart Attack" was most probably air in the filter head. To test for it, purge the filter head (there are tons of threads on this, I'm too old and flatulent to figure out how to find and post them for you, sorry).Anyhow, purge the air and tell us how much you had in there. Might be it. Usually is.
Then unplug your Fuel Heater Element...check for air leaking in and burned out bits. This could be happeneing to make more than "normal" (yet still un-acceptable) amounts of air into your system. And leave it unplugged until Feb. or they recall the darn thing.
