i voted a yes on that one.. i've gotten anywhere from 24-27 mpg in mixed hihgway driving, depending on the town i drop to 22 or so being out in the burbs like i am now my mileage is worse. because of the severly long lights and lots of hills here but even towing i get about what my old chevy diesel got with no trailer.

so yes i am happy, not to mention it's a nice little ride too

I am not happy with mine (yet?). Gets 20 or a small bit less around town. Got up to 25 with the ORM drivng 75 on highway, but mostly around 23-24. I'm not sure where to start with this, I'll replace the air filter and the SEGR is on it's way. Hopefully it will come around.

I'm somewhat satisfied, I was hoping for 30MPG when I bought it new (I planned the exhaust + intake would help more than they did) but its closer to 25-26mpg. the EVIC says i get a 3-5 over actual MPG, its worthless, unless I want to 'pretend' I'm getting 32MPG to make myself feel better. atleast i have the option.

I'm thrilled compared to my 04 gasser.. 25-26mpg is alot better than 17-18!!! The ORM got me about .75 extra mpg.

I'm pretty satisfied. On the mainland I was getting 23-25 city and 27-30 highway. Even towing a heavy Pontiac Grandprix across the country, with my jeep loaded, yielded a solid 19mpg average. That was with the ORM and goodyear silent armor tires.

The only issue I have, is since I moved to Hawaii, I have not been able to get better than 21mpg. Granted this is 95 % stop and go driving, as the only "interstate" isn't much more than 20 miles long. It's also quite warm and humid here. I'm not so sure about the fuel quality either. Heck that same Pontiac I towed with my CRD used to get 26 city, 33 highway, now I'm lucky to get 20.

We aren't exactly a lightweight platform, so you really can't complain about 23-26mpg for a true sleeper 4x4.

I've never really understood the "I expected 30mpg" people. The estimate should have been on the window when it was purchased and the EPA nor Jeep ever claimed remotely close to 30mpg. This thing outweighs my father's 1977 F150, and is shaped like a slightly curved brick. It has a fairly large 4cyl engine. Mid-20's for fuel economy is very very good. The people getting 30mpg or higher I think either live somewhere incredibly flat(I've noticed a lot of Arizona people seem to get that level), have an undiagnosed odometer error(think they are doing better than they are), or are exaggerating. I don't believe that the performance difference from the norm of 23-25 really would be 20-35% off for a tiny fraction of individuals, if all other circumstances are the same...

That said, if someone lived in a low traffic area where they had only highway driving to do to and from work, I could imagine getting 28-31mpg because I can hit that on a clear day with no headwind on my trips, but for most people thats hardly a typical scenerio.

Basing mpg on a single tank is also very inaccurate...I have seen 32mpg on one highway trip...absolutely all highway at 64mph rolling terrain...nothing steep at all. But being it was a one tank example, it is not accurate at all.

I am getting 21.9 all city with easy driving...New EPA Ratings 19/21/23...so I figure I am doing just fine.

I average 22 to 25 mpg. With the occasional 28 to 31mpg on a long trip it typically will do 30+ mpg if it’s raining the entire way. Go figure.

All highway mileage is 30 MPG @ 65 MPH. According to the above site that's pretty close to theoretical depending on variables and assumptions. :D

Since cleaning the MAP I have driven 1,000 miles. I did a 245 mile trip today and got 25 1/4 MPG. I crused at 70 to 75 MPH. I figure thats good for the speed I was cruseing at.

I voted "satisfied" - I only do city stop/go driving, and during the summer I usually get 20-21. I had it on the highway one time and got 28.5, so I was very impressed. It is such a huge improvement over the Dodge Durango Hemi that I traded in so I really can't complain. I would like to be able to really see what it can do on the highway. I am not very happy about the price of diesel fuel right now - $3.09 a gallon in my area. That sort of cuts into the savings I had hoped to get by getting the better gas mileage, but,all in all, it's still better than any other car I have had lately.

I usually run B50 or so and get about 21 mpg in mixed commuting. My highway mileage has largely been from the Phoenix valley to New Mexico. I get about 26-27 climbing out of the valley and 29-30 on the way back down averaging 65 mph/1800 RPM. The ability to run biodiesel is what sells me on this vehicle. I can use 50% less Middle Eastern oil on my daily commute in a capable 4X4 that will get me to my property along the Continental Divide 26 miles from pavement.

Too early for me to vote, picked up my CRD a week ago, an 06 Limited w 20K miles. So far I like it a lot but was surprised that our first refill on the tank indicated 19 MPG. Yes, mixed driving including around town but I expected better. Last diesel I had was a 1966 MBZ 200D and that got better

Have not deactivated the EGR or any mods, will do noneof them until 36K mile warranty expires.

We will be towing a small trailer, weight maybe up to 3,500 lbs and it will be interesting to see what happens then.

I am surprised how much additive helps with mileage. 10% improvement typical

I voted no - 15.2 MPG on last 2 fill ups. I had it in the shop today and a bunch was done, driveability has definitely been improved - need MAF replaced and is on backorder - thus CEL is bright and yellow. Code says MAF sensor faulty in high range - not sure if that means I am runnunig like ORM or the opposite - probably the latter.
I will spare you the whole story, but I went to a dealer recommended by a "diesel specialist". Wished I had not gone there. An hour and a half in the shop and I was told that both the ECM and BCM were blown and had be replaced and reprogrammed - total cost $2500 before taxes. NO WARRANTY because an extra wire had been installed by another dealer. I paid for the rental courtesy cruizer and collected my CRD as quickly as I could. Had to get away from this place! Drove to the dealer who had put in the wire and it looks like we might have a winner - with the same ECM and BCM and no reprogramming. The tech removed the mystery wire, re-entered some code for the injectors which magically healed the "burned" out ECM and BCM.
Going on a 600 mile trip this weekend, will get the calculator out and hopefully change my NO vote to a YES vote!

Power Service "Diesel Kleen® +Cetane Boost"

It seems to complement the bio-diesel mix I use pretty well.
