All day I had a bad feeling about today's drive. Dune bashing as crazy as usual. We where competing who can reach first to the top...pics dont give justice...but it was hard. Even the FJ didnt make it, next thing my libby did on low 2nd gear. on the way down went around this small side dune which ive done thousands of times...this time the dune collapsed sticking one whel in, engine failed and it was in slwo motion 6 seconds tops.

wow! unreal, rips off some flares, busted window, dented rear, but the thing that stuck out the farthest on that side, the side view mirror...still standing strong. Great pics and how cool are those dunes...something we don't see over here everyday. Dubai, there's a couple of dollars floating around that city!! 8) 8) :P

well at least it was a good oportunity to tighten all the skid plates...not at your expense, but its wild to see the whole underside like that - that view usually has a hydraulic lift in the picture as well. :D Did it fire right up when you got it righted???

I agree with everyone else - it could have been a lot worse. I'm sure I can speak for everyone and say we're glad you weren't hurt! That being said, the pics are pretty cool - revisit my childhood and play in the "sandbox".

Wow, Dubai is a beutiful place. What an amazing place to live. Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum had great visions for that place. I think his brother is just as good a man. Id love to visit sometime. And as for the damage well, it's all part of the game. You gotta pay to play! It must have been heart pouding while you were rolling. What a rush.
