darn I was thinking along the same lines Dave. So I guess extreme would be 02-04 fenders, flares, turn signal lenses and housings. I was also thinking for all you welders out there.... extreme scenario again, was if I had the c- channels some how heated and form or pounded as they were warm or maybe even cut and re welded so it would fit right???? suggestions on the extreme worst case scenario??????

Extreme worst case scenario: Court to get them to do what they should have the first time you called and take it back, instead of "Oh we welded the wrong light tabs on it, and knew it before we sent it out. Just cut them off and fix it yourself"

Too bad you did not record the conversations.

What you are suggesting here would not work as easily as it sounds. If you have to keep the bumper than (in my opinion) cut the mounts of the bumper, or in your case take it to a fab shop, and make the same thing that fits your jeep at this time you could actually move the mount up a bit before rewelding them on to the bumper this would drop it down some so your lights would not be an issue, they would fit like they should. Or if they do take it back by the time you get it resolved and my bumpers will be in production   at alot cheaper price ( for the initial lost group buy). :D

I have an '05 my my girlfriend has an '04. I'll take a look tomorrow to see how much different the grills are and if it is doable with some minor trimming maybe.

You paid for a product that is supposed to work, They need to fix it not you. If you have to do anything they need to reimburse you and they need to give you a partial refund for your trouble and frustration.

I know you already painted it, but do not cut off those light tabs or do any modifying of the bumper, or they will claim you are the reason it does not fit, even though it was clearly built for the '02-'04 not your year.

ummm.. I already cut off the light tabs per Larry the pres of the company. they were hitting my cross member and would not let the bumper sit flush. after that is when we figured out the other fitment issues

Yea they do, I cant wait to see what they say tomorrow.... crossing fingers its good news

I know how it can be with being obsessed with something. But that will never excuse them for their misleading advertising and attempts to make you foot the bill for their lazyness and poor designs.

I just spent the better part of 8 hours installing a used ARB for a 05-07 bumper. One i bought used rom a fomer KJer out of Anarbor MI. I drove 400+ miles round trip to pick it up half way and then had it re-powder coated to color match my black 07. ( I know you hate black, but it does look cool). Too dark for pics now but I will get some asap and post.

Pics here now:

Install so far, too dark after this for more pics. More to come

I am waiting on some replacement parts from ABR. namely replacement parking lights, One was melted as it was insatlled incorectly by the previous owner. And a new ARB badge for the front as it had to be removed for the powdercoating.

I am also waiting on a fog light mount for the OEM lights to be mounted from the griille to the bull bar. The bull bar cover the old holes completely and the one mount apparently never made it through the De-Install in Mich.

ARB is not only sending me this mounting bracket but it is warenteeing it for me. Unfortunately it is on the slow boat from down under, but... the customer service is still there.

Point is that if I had all the necessary hardware and all the parts from the previous owner. I would be in great shape now.

I am very sorry you have to go through all tha. but again they screwed you big time and they should make it right.

Im sure you could get it to work as i stated in another post. move the mounts up enough so your lights would clear the flares,After you get the fitment of them on your sub correct anyhow.

yea I wonder how much that would cost me to have someone re-fab all of that??? I just hope TR stands behind there product, and fixes it, better yet they should get a current 05+ with fogs and re-fit and re-measure.

They can if you alter them just a little bit so it still clears where the winch goes and even then you could raise them and dress it up a bit cosmetically.
