Hello everyone, I fairly new to this site and 4x4 trails. Me and some friends are going to take our dirt bikes on this road but I havn't been able to find good directions to a staging area. I would really like to tavel the road on my bike before I attempt it in my wifes liberty  as I have read mixed reviews on the severity of the trail. Thanks

Plenty of staging at Lake Pleasant! We ran this trail summer with several stock KJ's. Just need some spotting - not a severe trail at all. I've heard it changes after rains, but we haven't had much since then...

Search the posts for the Crown King Run pics.

just went up the trail this weekend
stock liberty could make most of the trail no problem and will make it up the trail but there are
3 spots on the trail will be trouble but can be done if you move some rocks and get good spotters
I wouldnt to this trail with out a lift unless you like smashing up you side, muffler and under carriage

message me for some photos

Question? how do i get my pics from my puter to a URL address so i can link them?

First of all welcome! The Crown King run is a great trail and was my introduction to wheeling. I took a bone stock '05 Sport up everything but took the easier way up one of the main obstacles. I never was in fear of my sides and I had factory skids so I wasn't worried about my muffler either.

As to your question about photos...there are tons of free places to park your photos. Probably the two biggest are flickr(run by Yahoo!) and Picasa (run by Google). They are very simple to join and use. There's also the specialized cardomain.com.

Good luck and look forward to seein' your pics.

You can also try Photobucket (what I use), or Imageshack. I'm sure there are more out there. I like photobucket because it will auto-generate the 'img' info so you just copy and paste it into your post and your picture shows up easy-peasy 8)

and like i was saying im sure a stock liberty will make it but i am also sure you will smash something as of this week there are 3 spots that are hard to pass and i have a 3" lift 245 75 16s, no body damae but i did hit my muffler, laid my spare tire on the ground while attached to the rear door and heard rock hit the undercarrage 2 times up the trail. My cj5 went up this trail 2 years ago with no problem but stock liberty might get banged up some on this trail if they dont move rocks.

nice to meet you guys too and thanks for the help on posting pics!

Cool pics....looks like you had some fun. I'm sure a stock Liberty will make it too; I did it. And the only thing smashed was any preconceived notion of whether or not the Liberty is a "real" Jeep!
