I'm new to all this and was wondering if anyone has used Rusty's Air Tube with K&N Filter? I see some are using K&N systems but wondered if this works alright. It cost like 1/3 the price or is this one of those "You get what you pay for" things?

Save the money and get some good drop-in filters. The best intake you can get for your car is the one that comes with it.

Ditto.

Amsoil EAA201 drop in runs about $40-ish to your door. Plenty of flow and isolated from underhood heat, drawing cool air in from under edge of the hood AND it will actually filter the air efficiently.

I had one and it worked fine. I now just have the filter mounted directly to the throttle body. Some day i plan to put a hood scoop on it like al's had that way cold air runs directly to the filter.

I ran one (rustys air tube and K&N) for over 70000 miles and no problems at all , liked the sound as well, just went a different direction and changed it out.

Air sucking sound. Sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

I still haven't looked into it but I would like to have that Rustys tube with Amsoil filter on the end and not K&N. I asked JJsKJ about it and he needs to know the measurement of that K&N filter that comes with Rustys so he can find the right Amsoil filter for it. ANybody know the measurements?

Hit up Rustys for the replacement filter part number and that should help.
