I'm definitely interested, depending on the price.

Count me in. I would do Suncoast TC too if I could get some cheap labor!

FYI.. you can go to http://www.siliconeintakes.com and buy the hoses and bends yourself.. I don't know how much the total would be though.. for all the bends, etc. I've used them in the past for other cars.. great quality. I would prefer to purchase a single, solid silicone hose though.. i.e. samco.

I may be proven wrong here but I was sure we were requesting fluoro silicone hoses from Samco. Normal silicone will not last the distance when soaked in oil and "normal" silicone is the liner material in the OEM hoses. Fluoro silicone was developed to have a higher resistance to oil.

Now that DC and my lawyer have come to an understanding about the 40 days my CRD was out of service in the first year, I'm interested in keeping it running for a good long while... I don't see a problem with the hoses at present, but I'm sure they will degrade over time...

Are we going to be able to get some quality claps from Samco (distributor) as well? I'm assuming they'll be sold separately.

Sorry I have been in the USA for the past 3 weeks and have not had a chance to check in. Is this a go finally?

If not, McMaster has a whole array of suitable contant tension clamps, probably at a better price.

Yes we are getting the lining in these hoses.

There are many options for t-bolt style clamps, when the time approaches perhaps we can see what the distributor has to offer, otherwise it may just be a seperate purchase for y'all to make.

Samco is sending me a set to test out, they seem to be waiting on my report(and a few others I would assume) before going ahead with production.

Sir Sam,

When you've got them can you post a pic so I can check if they are OK for the old 2.5 as well?

I am defenately in on a group buy but aprox $200 for something that doesn't fit :(

And as another Jeeper said:

I've changed my vote to a definite buy.

After checking out some of the competition's websites that offer lower prices, it wasn't so much the fact that their stuff was made in China, but the fact that they were almost bragging about it and their in-your-face attitude if you didn't like the idea that it was made in China, that made up my mind.

IMO, in this case you are getting what you pay for. I'll be going with the Samco hoses.

I wonder if the blue could be a little darker (ha, ha)..... otherwise, perfect!

Actually, it might be nice if a black version were available, for those wishing to "stay stock-like".

The joke was that the color really is not too important. You would have to be really picky if you could find fault in the color, particularly the shade of blue.

The only real issue is stock color or not.

Even black they would still say "Samco" on em, personally I would rather see em in red!

As long as they don't say "Made in China" and are better quality than the Mopar hoses, don't care if they're striped with polka-dots.
