Thanks for the comments guys all you earlier model owners it will be available soon I hope just need someone to commit to helping me out with a specimen. :D

I guess Ill ask mine again...what are the specs...

Approach...
Steel tubing thickness on "stinger"...
Thickness of steel overall...

125lbs w/o a winch  Heavy as hell!!! Thought the ARBs were lighter than that...

The 125lbs is a guestimate I have to scale it for sure. It is mostly 3/16" The turn signal housing is 1/8" The arb is lighter because they use alot of 1/8" in the wrong places, Have you seen what the rocks do to them?Thats just my oppinion thats why i am building them the way I do I dont like dents in an investment of that price. The stinger is 1/8" DOM tube. and for the approach Im not sure what is the best way to figure that out?

Doc it would be very simple. If you had a welder and such. I would just follow the plane off of your fender down to the bumper all the way around making a mark on the bumper with soap stone or a crayon this will give you the line to go to. I would then get some 1/8" steel and cut and bend it to fit the gap and follow the line and then just weld it in and paint to match. Im not the best at explaining things I hope you gather what im trying to say.

I honestly have no clue about all of that..... I don't have a welder or know anything about fabricating.

Approach Angle - The approach angle is the angle drawn from front of the tires to the front bumper.

I sure can bud 8)

Take a picture of the jeep from the side profile...or you can do it in person as well...

The angle between the ground and a line runnin from the front tire to the LOWEST portion of the bumper will give you the approach angle...

Does this make sense?? If not then I can draw a pic for you 8)
