my KJ is back on the road.
battery went flat when they had the KJ and it seems to have more go after the ECU re-set.
also the radio is now showing the station NAME 8)

if you split your CV boot and have the tools and ability to remove the shaft completely i suggest you do.
I wore down the shaft driving home and they couldn't rebuild it so ended up forking out $820 for a 2nd hand one and then $250 for labour to get it installed.

Ed, that must be one of the nicest photo's of a CV joint that can ever remember seeing :!: :P :lol: ............

seriously though, I've just come back from the insurance assessor and the body works office........ repairs approved but will be ready 14th January 08......i.e. waiting time before Xmas........lucky it is still drivable. Just looks off!! :lol:

Glad your back on the road ED, maybe I should get round to posting "how to remove" if you drop a CV. I brought the big socket and carry it everywhere but it's not needed yet thank god!
