I know you could put any bumper on your KJ, but why install anything else....Seriously?!
This bumper is all about manhood.
Need to tow anything?
Check out the fit & finish.
Here's pics of my new interior: Heated leather seats!
The reasons I purchased the RL bumper are:
Marty has been a part of our community for quite a while. He's wheeled with us, he's supported LOST Safari as a vendor, he's dedicated his company to producing products for the Liberty. This is not his hobby, this is how he pays his bills.
Marty has recently expanded his shop and somehow got Troy to join the team. Troy is a brilliant mechanic, painter and fabricator. All you need to do is look through his posts (and at his rig) to get an idea of how talented he really is.
My point here is Rock Lizard Fabrications has done a lot in the past and present to earn your business. Many of you guys out there have met them and it's nice to know who you're dealing with.
The quality of the product stands on it's own. The bumper is built so well that it literally slid right on and everything lined-up perfectly.
This bumper was designed in the field to address issues of wheeling with the KJ. A big one being crappy departure angles. My plastic bumper got pretty chewed up out there!
The bumper is the best blend of form and function that I've seen. I gladly paid full price for this and I am in no way benefiting by posting my opinions here. I plan to get The RL Fab front winch bumper as soon as the crew down there can make me one.
