I bought CRDBurnout's Stinger module and after 3 days of playing with it, it rocks. It just plugs into the fuel rail presure sensor. Was 5 minute install including feeding it through the firewall. I didn't notice much difference in setting 1, setting 2 was a bit nicer, and setting 3 is where is will stay unless I tow. The lag at takeoff is gone. No more hit pedal and wait for a second. You can spin tires and annoy the ESP if you want, but with regular driving, I actually stomp on it less. The increase in 2000-2500 RPMs is very noticeable and you don't have to floor it to pass people. it is nowhere near the 55hp that they claim, but it makes daily driving much more enjoyable. Hopefully I can finish my guage install next week and report on EGT's. Pod and guages are in, just need to mount the senders.

Just let us know where you decide to install the EGT Thermocouple.
I haven't really found a good location pre-turbo yet.

I'm interested in where you find to install the EGT probe as well. Let us know how it goes.

I just finished wiring in the guages. It is so nice of DCX to put a spare 20A fuse in the box and give it switchable power. The EGT is going in the downpipe just after the turbo. This is the only decent spot and my powerstroke has one in the downpipe per Banks as well. I will just adjust the temp by 200 in my head. Pretty much its just for setitng baselines to let me know when were back to norm temps. The boost sender is going in the CAC hose from the turbo. I'm gonna splice in a piece of exhaust pipe with a bung welded in. The long hose is nice and straight where it runs next to the ac line. The digital guages are nowhere near as bright as my big truck. It will be much nicer driving at night.

On another note, has anyone used a Fitch Fuel Catalyst? I read about it in a diesel mag and it seems that a lot of mags have used them. www.fitchfuelcatalyst.com
